Exciting fun!

Just because I like to save money and live frugally doesn't mean I don't get to enjoy my hobbies and still do almost everything I want to. I am a crafter, I started off several years ago making cards which has developed over the years to the point where I now prefer to alter thing and use lots of mixed media. Anyone that crafts, card making, scrapbooks and so on will know just how expensive it can get! There always seems to be something new on the market that we just can't possibly craft without so we buy all these new gadgets use them once then put them away in a cupboard never to be seen again (well sometimes it's like that ).

I can honestly say I very rarely spend much money on crafting. I still have lots of designer papers, boxes of trims more paper flowers than I will ever use and I have always paid a fraction of the cost for all of it. So how do I do it? There are loads of ways that I get my craft supplies, some of it is savvy shopping, some of it making my own supplies I have found that almost every craft product out there will have an alternative, that doesn't mean it is better, or even as good but for me as long as it works and gives me an end result that I am happy with then I can't ask for any more.

I have started a new group in the Smeared and Smudged forum where I will teach people how to save money on their crafting. There will be bi-weekly tips and tutorials with write ups, plenty of photos and even some videos, I might even do a few giveaways too and we all know the best price is free!

If you'd like to sign up to find out how you can be saving money and still getting to create then head over to the forum, it's completely free to sign up
